Chad Hall presented his poster "Testing the P-Map: Lenition and Position" at the Annual Meeting on Phonology conference, which was held at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY, from October 11-13.
On November 22nd and 23rd, we will be hosting an alumni event centered around careers in linguistics. We have invited Ai Taniguchi (Ph.D., 2017) and Steve Johnson (Ph.D., 2012) to talk about their career paths and facilitate workshops. This event has two goals: Connections with alumni and professional development. We would like to establish firm connections with our alumni and give current students the opportunity to interact with alumni. We want current students to be able to get a better idea about how a graduate degree in linguistics can be used within and outside of academia. For more information, click here.
